Lukas Volger wrote the cookbooks Veggie Burgers Every Which Way and Vegetarian Entrees that Won’t Leave You Hungry. His accessible, whole-foods based approach to vegetarian cuisine has been featured in national and local print, radio, TV, and online media. He’s appeared on The Splendid Table, has been featured on the New York Times “Diner’s Journal” as well as in Martha Rose Shulman’s New York Times “Recipes for Health” column. He teaches cooking classes and does demonstrations across the country, and continues to do periodic demonstrations at farmers markets and grocery stores. He maintains a blog where he develops recipes and writes about other vegetarian food matters. He currently lives in Brooklyn.
Lalit Chopra is a fan of fantastic foods, especially ones that provide a better alternative to the over-processed products available today. And, he has a passion for getting great ideas up and running. After hearing Lukas’ novel idea of making veggie burgers actually made from vegetables and trying the actual product, he was all about helping to get these creations to the public. Lalit holds a MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, has worked in financial services and the tech startup world. He currently calls Brooklyn his home.
