FOOD MEDIA INTERN
Made by Lukas, Brooklyn-based maker of fresh veggie burgers, has its first-ever internship opportunity! We’re looking for help developing and refining our online presence. The Food Media internship has two components:
1. Social media:
Draft Tweets and Facebook posts
Research for our #vegfacts campaign—fun, vegetable factoids—and brainstorm other similar campaigns that reinforce our brand’s identity
Collaborate on launching our Pinterest board and help maintain our presence on that platform
2. Website recipe development:
Brainstorm and draft creative recipes using our veggie burgers, and help in the kitchen to test them
Assist on photo- and video shoots for these recipes—prepping, cooking, styling, shooting, cleaning up
The best candidates will . . .
Have familiarity and interest in healthy eating and vegetarian culture/cuisine
UndersTand and genuinely enjoy social media, and be well versed in all the platforms
Know their way around the kitchen, and be a little food-obsessed
In addition to having a hand in crafting our young company’s voice and brand, this is a great opportunity to work with Lukas, a celebrated cookbook author and founder of the business.
Time commitment: 2 days / week (14-16 hours), minimum 3 month commitment. Training will be in person at first, but will thereafter switch to on- and off-site depending on what kind of work needs to be done—there’s a lot of flexibility here with the hours.
Stipend: $40 / day
Requirements:
